Since October I've been having a ball with Linux. Literally! First I received my
Raspberry Pi and played with a lot of different ideas and stuff on it. Finally I made it my 'home infotainment server' (HIS). Yes that's right, a HIS! I've hooked my computer, all data drives and my living room LCD/HTS over the WLAN to it. What that means is that I get a seamless internet and multimedia experience on all screens when I'm in my home, including my smartphones. TV is just an app now on my TV!
And last week
Linux Mint released version 14 (Nadia) with the updated
Cinnamon desktop, from which I'm blogging this right now. Suffice to say I haven't logged into any of my other available OS' since I installed it. Its just too functional and very slick! I'm doing all my programming, internet browsing, etc on this beauty now.
